2nd Place, Professional Non-Original Without Instruction

I could not resist the challenge of stitching the hats on this group of bears. The headpieces were finished several years ago, except for the ribbon rose. Jennifer Riefenberg taught me the ribbon technique just a year ago. The faces were completed last year. I created different textures by using a variety of threads (wool, petite velvet, and silk and wool). Brushed basketweave, skip tent, and interlocking gobelin were the stitches used.
