3rd Place, Professional Non-Original With Instruction

I purchased this canvas by Waterweave at a local shop and stored it for a couple of years before presenting it to Debbie Stiehler to recommend threads and stitches in her 2017 class, Interpreting the Painted Canvas. Stiehler suggested enhancements, such as the chicken fence and the google eyes. This was great fun to stitch, and my framer went the extra mile in framing it. It now resides in my kitchen as I was told that every kitchen needs a chicken—it brings good luck.
