Lynn’s art education came from her parents, who were professional artists and art educators. She has taught for more than 40 years at all levels for EGA, ANG, EAC, Callaway Gardens School of Needlearts, NAN, Stitching Sisters Seminars, Blue Bonnet Studio Time Retreat, continuing education, numerous shops, quilt guilds, YWCA, and in her studio. Her works have won numerous awards. Lynn has created designs for Janlynn Corporation, Ibex Designs, and Custom House, and has published in Family Circle, Woman’s Day, McCall’s, Stitchery, Lee Wards, Threads, Needlearts, and Stitchery and Needle Lace. The classes she offers encompass a wide range of needleart, including mixed media, Crewel, silk ribbon, Needlelace, Brazilian, Stumpwork, Blackwork, silk and metal, crazy quilting, clothing embellishment, doll making, and beading. Her classes engage pre-school children through senior citizens. Lynn is known not only for teaching stitches and techniques to students, but also for inspiring their creativity and imagination.
