2nd Place, Non-Professional Original

This original mixed media landscape on 24 count Congress cloth is a memory of a lone barn in a field near Luc du Flambeau, WI. It is to be noted that there are no real mountains in Wisconsin but they were added to enhance my vision of a quiet restful place. This piece was worked in a variety of overdyed threads with some mountain shadows suggested by alcohol marker.
