The Exemplary 2027 Entry Form

Each entry in The Exemplary requires a separate entry form.

You may enter works in The Exemplary online or by submitting the paper registration form included in the Assembly booklet.

    • If you submit a paper entry form, fees must be paid by a check included with your form.
    • If you enter online using the button below, you may pay by credit card or check. To pay by check, first complete your online registration, then select "Invoice Me" instead of "Pay Online". You will receive an invoice by email with instructions for mailing your check.

Regardless of how you enter The Exemplary, the Assembly booklet and the FAQ page are your primary sources for information about categories, eligibility, awards, and rules. Keep them handy as you complete your registration.

The Exemplary Deadlines

February 15, 2027

    • Deadline for receipt of entry forms, entry fees, and artist statements.  
    • Late entries will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Contact exemplary@needleart.org for assistance.

March 5, 2027

    • Deadline for receipt of shipped entries to The Exemplary.

March 10, 2027 (noon)

    • Deadline for entries (other than the Joy of Sharing category) to be delivered in person to The Exemplary.
    • Entries in the Joy of Sharing category may be delivered in person until Thursday, March 11, at 3 p.m.
