Bronze, brass, & copper highlight this stunning purse flap. In designing the piece, I wanted to explore many separate motifs that would work together with the filigreed bronze clover leaf embellishment to create interest that moves around the purse flap. The threads, including Silk Lamé Braid, Sparkle! Braid, Kreinik metallic braid, Accentuate, Bijoux, Overdyed metallic thread by ThreadworX, Impressions by Caron Collection, worked well on the Soft Mocha Congress cloth. The use of the square Tila Beads by Miyuki, along with the mini bugle beads added interest and texture to the design. For fun the lining is a unique cotton fabric with fun purse designs that make you smile when you open the purse.
