Mildred started as a dede canvas with a very simple face. I was given a picture of a friend’s cat to personalize her face with long and short and satin stitches with Overture and Burmilana threads. The bow was made using 2 strands for a fork bow. Many different stitches are included in the harvest basket – long stem knots, alternating upright cross, stem outline, queen stitch, lazy daisy and satin. The cape was stitched with Debbie Stieler’s Diagonal Stairs Stitch.
