3rd Place, Professional Non-Original with Instruction

Color Play was a fun class that allowed a stitcher to experience how a thread can change the color over which it is being stitched and vice versa. This piece was stitched as Jennifer Riefenberg deisnged and instructed until I got to the ‘outlining’ of each of the hexagons. Jennifer’s instructions were to do a whipped outline stitch using 2 strands of Bijoux. After trying this, I opted to switch to couching a Kreinik #8 braid that had a similar color feel to the Bijoux.
