The first thing I thought of when I saw this painted canvas was that each area to be stitched was small enough that I wouldn’t have to buy new threads. I could just go into my stash and use what was there. That’s exactly what I did and it worked out perfectly!
I also liked that there were me to stitch, which is a rare occurrence for needlepoint canvases.
After stitching their faces and clothes, each person took on a personality that determined what hair-do I would give them.
The last thing I did was to apply all the embellishments, also using items from my stash.
