Second Place, Non-Professional Non-Original with Instructions

I have long been a fan of Laurel Burch’s designs. When a friend purchased this canvas which looked so much like Laurel’s cats. I saw it and knew I wanted to stitch it, also. However, as with many stitching projects, it ended up in my closet. My goal for the last few years has been to finish class projects and other things in my closet, using the threads that I have purchased through the years. When I saw NAN offering a canvas embellishment class with Debbie Stiehler, I knew this was the perfect time to work on this piece. Debbie made thread suggestions but I just brought LOTS from my stash and during the class, we chose threads that would work. The class and the project were so much fun!
