2016 First Place, Non-Professional Non-Original with Instruction

I completed the “Holly Bear” by Liz Goodrick-Dillon two years ago for my husband and he has loved it so much, he wanted me to do one for myself.

Since we have collected “Teddys” over the years, it was natural to choose the “companion” “Ice Teddy Bear”. Although I am not a “blue person”, I think I managed to still have the “icey” white snow feeling with this piece. It was a loving “setting” as I did all those long/short stitches again! Loved using all the beautiful blue and silver metallic fibers and my version of adding little pearls.
