Honorable Mention

This piece grew out of a Jan Beany and Jean Littlejohn class at Callaway Gardens. Callaway is full of lichen covered trees. This piece grew from a picture of the lichen.

The emphasis on the class was layering. The cloth is originally painted and stenciled. It was then stitched to provide texture. That stitching was then covered with painted wonder under and foiled. Parts of the fabric were covered with chiffon.

I have been looking for years for something that would go in the insert for this Lee purse.
