Debbie Stiehler is an international needleart designer, teacher, and lecturer who combines artistic ability with a sense of humor to mentor stitchers in finding their own talents. She has taught at many seminars, guilds, and privately in the US and Canada. Debbie holds Level II teacher certification from the National Academy of Needlearts, and her expertise piece, The Lily and the Ladybug, was accessioned into the NAN Permanent Collection. She is also an EGA Master Craftsman in Canvas Embroidery and has studied bobbin lace making at the Ecole de Dentelle in Chamalieres, France. Debbie has written numerous articles for Needlepointers, Needlearts, and Needlepoint Now, and in 2007 was featured as a Designer Across America by Needlearts. She has served as NAN’s Director of Teachers’ Certification and Director of Education.
