2008 NAN Lifetime Achievement Awardee

Barbara Loftus was active in EGA, holding offices at the chapter, regional, and national levels. She was an EGA-certified Master Judge, and chaired the EGA Judges’ Certification Program. A nationally recognized teacher, Barbara taught at national and regional seminars. She received both national and regional awards from EGA, and designed and painted many custom canvases. In a needlework career that spanned more than four decades, she tirelessly promoted embroidery education, and inspired others to participate in the art of embroidery.
