First Place, Professional Japanese Embroidery

Last year I entered this same design with more masculine colors. It was stitched for a wedding present for my grandson Connor. This Pansy piece is stitched for my granddaughter Courtney with much love. The brighter colors reflect her vibrant personality and over all goodness. It is with great love for her that I laid every stitch flat and love the shine that reflects off of flat silk. What a joy to have a granddaughter who has grown up to be a wonderful woman.
