Honorable Mention, Non-Professional Non-Original with Instruction

I was drawn to this pinted canvas the first time I saw it. It is beautiful and delicate. I worked with Shay Pendray, and several Japanese Embroidery techniques were incorporated in this piece. I also had hand surgery while working on this piece so Shay gave me some easier fibers as Silk and Ivory to use. The bottom part was originally gray but Shay suggested purple, and after several attempts we came up with this design.
