1st Place, Non-Professional Non-Original with Instruction

This piece, designed and taught by Deborah Mitek, was embroidered as the designer suggested. No changes were made to the threads, silk ribbon or stitches used in the design. The designer introduced me to some knotted stitches that I had not learned previously. I absolutely love the colors and textures of this design. They are a delight to my senses.
