2nd Place, Non-Professional Non-Original with Instruction
While stitching my nativity set, I found that patience and persistence is the key to stitching a multi-piece project.
I was lucky enough to learn from a teacher, whom I had before, many new and exciting stitches; probably 10-15 stitches or composite stitches that I had never attempted. I also learned that counting and pattern matter!
It was a pleasure to use so many new fibers that I cannot buy locally. The silks and wool along with metallic allow this piece to sing.
I grew so much as a needlepointer, allowing me to be so proud of what I created.
