Long after finishing the children’s stockings, I found this Tapestry Tent painted canvas and knew it was the right one for my husband.
Time and again it was put down until I could solve, to my satisfaction, each of the problems presented along the way. It’s the product of every class I have ever taken and every teacher I’ve ever known. The stocking had to be right to please the man my mother-in-law calls Old Bah, Humbug, but more so to honor him for the wonderful man he is.
Some twenty years into the marriage, it is complete and, I hope, worth of him.
