Carole H. Lake is an EGA-certified teacher who specializes in manipulating common and uncommon threads and stitches to create textured effects, with a special interest in the effect and symbolism of color. Her award-winning work has been displayed in exhibits throughout the Southwest. Prior to her retirement, she taught and designed for over thirty years. More recently, she has been involved in online classes, and is the author of a number of needlework books.
Carole has always felt that service is an essential element of being involved in the needlework world, and she served both on national boards and is active locally in her EGA and ANG chapters. She was honored and privileged to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award from NAN in 2017, which she considers the capstone of her needlework career.
